Nurses deserve real breaks—while keeping patient care consistent and balanced. I’m Nick, founder of BreakerRN and a medical-surgical bedside nurse since 2018. I have seen first hand how vital a 30 minute break can be for the focus and safety of nursing professionals. I have experienced the challenge of finding the time to even take a break. I also know the guilt one can face when you entrust your entire patient load to a nurse who already has a full team.

What we provide

BreakerRN gives hospital units a designated break nurse— someone whose sole purpose is to cover all nurses on the floor for at least 30 minutes. This helps ensure breaks are truly uninterrupted and stress-free.

By providing proper coverage, we help create healthier work environments, reduce burnout, and support sustainable nursing workforce.

We are currently providing coverage in the Jackson and Memphis area.
